A very merry un-blog day (to me? To you!)

I was going to post on my actual first blog anniversary (aka blog day) on the 6th, but I've got a good pal coming in for the weekend from my original home city of Boston (go Sox!). As I am not quite ready to accept the title of World's Dorkiest Friend, I've decided to celebrate my un-blog day instead. So come in, make yourself comfortable. All the imaginary food you can eat. The Mad Hatter should be here any minute. I think he's bringing more balloons.

I wish I had some music to get the party going, but the net only half works here and my Mac is temporarily out of commission. So BYOM.

Okay, now I guess it's time for the speech. Ahem (I know I just said BYOM, but turn the volume down a little, would ya?)…

To anyone who reads Forever Enchanted, I thank you. You may be a select few, but you are here. Without you I might as well be talking to the wall, and what's the fun in that? So really, thanks. I'm not sure that I've accomplished so much during this first year, but I hope I've turned out at least a few quality posts, and kept you somewhat entertained. I'm actually sort of amazed that I've managed to keep it going so long. When I first started I thought I'd run out of stuff to write after the first month. I still don't think the blog will go on indefinitely, but at least for the time being I'm glad to continue with it.

I'm hearing some yawns…I'm almost done, I promise! Also the Mad Hatter is here now and I better keep an eye on him before he slips something in my drink… So where was I? Oh yes-- Thanks again, and please know I don't want presents, but I do have an un-blog day wish: To hear from you more! Post a comment, drop me a line. Since there are so few of you it makes it all the more exciting when someone actually talks. If you prefer to be mysterious, you can always post anonymously.
